Views

Views are an very important way of getting into the correct workflow.

  • Last 3 day view: See what everyone worked on
  • Private view: Last worked on. Continue very fast with your previous work. - To do explained in more detail.

Priorities

What priorities mean:

  • No Priority: Every issue needs to have a priority. In case your issue doesn't have one think about which priority fits best from the list below and choose the one that seems to be the most appropriate
  • Low: The issue if of no particular importance or urgency. The purpose of it is to generate background knowledge, that we want to use at a point in the future. Work on this task will resume sporadically. Expect no fast inputs or reviews if you are working on a low priority task.
  • Medium: The issue is of average importance. Around 60% of common day tasks are going to be medium.
  • High: The issue is importance. Try to fit it in in the next couple of days and prioritize it over most other tasks. If there is a deadline assigned to it instantly if you are aware that you cannot keep the deadline
  • Urgent: This issue is of highest importance. Stop everything else and work on it immediately. Instantly communicate if you run into problems or can not work on it straight on for some reason.

General orientations: (Draft)

  • Whatever helps Moritz to take better Investment decisions and has the highest impact in this regard should always be prioritized and be the first and highest priority.
  • Whatever helps to build the community like reacting fast to newcomers or writing articles should be the second priority.
  • What helps us to keep things in order and clear should be the third priority.

It is in the responsibility of every researcher to be subscribed to the right issues.
