June 2, 2023: Meta asks employees to come to office three days per week beginning from September, that's according to people familiar with the matter. May 26, 2023: Speaking about the recent layoffs, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he is hoping the company will move toward more stability and less bureaucracy. “So it’s not like we’re going to end up in exactly the place that we were before because that wasn’t my goal. I wanted to get to a scrappier place,” he said. Due to the upcoming layoffs, the company adjusted its 2023 total expenses from $89-95 billion previously to be in the range of $86-92 billion.
