July 19, 2023: Germany’s Koblenz Regional Court ruled against Deutsche Telecom claims that 1&1 cannot describe its network as the “most modern 5G network in Europe" in its advertising content. However, Handelsblatt said that with the ruling, 1&1 will no longer describe its network as “5G für zu Hause” (5G for at home) in its current form, a statement disagreed with by 1&1.
