+Mentioning someone that a notification is sent requires two steps
+* Tag the User you want to mention in the following format  <nowiki>[[User:Username]]</nowiki> e.g. <nowiki>[[User:PirateCaptain]]</nowiki>
+* Sign the msg via the sign symbol next to the "I" in editing mode or include includes 4 ~ to the msg.
 Tip: If you are really unsure how mentioning work create a secondary test account to test it.
