How to create Archives
User:MagaNH6 I copied what i just said in Discord to the Wiki as this has the following advantages: 1. Everyone can follow along 2. We already document the process publicly for everyone 3. We can publicly discuss the process to make it as good as possible 4. We can improve the description/explanation of the process easily. 5. When building a public process right away descriptions/communication tends to be better than in private conversations as more work is put into them. Open Questions from my side: 1. Do you think the setup outlined like in the article is good or do you have other ideas? 2. If we go with it should we name the overview article "Event", "Log", "Release" or something else? 3. Which date format should we use? --PirateCaptain (talk) 11:50, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
User:PirateCaptain So each month we would have to create a new "Consumer Price Index/Log/Date", and the only entry is going to have is the overview of the results of that 1 event?
As for the naming, I do like log, and the date as wiki use it, to keep consistency.--MagaNH6 (talk) 18:21, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
User:MagaNH6 Ok i created an example in the meanwhile and used "Historical Release". Will think about it. Clear advantage of log is that it is way shorter. Advantage of historical release is that it is clear to everyone what it is referring to. Another good solution could be linking the reports directly in the "Consumer Price Index" Site with no Site in between. --PirateCaptain (talk) 18:31, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
