Our core philosophy when it comes to development is "building on the shoulders of giants". This mean we will whenever possible avoid the need to develop (and maintain) anything ourselves and instead use open and free software.

As we strive for excellence in everything we do we welcome any suggestions which tools we could use to improve our setup.

At our current stage our goal is to choose and establish a coherent "software tool infrastructure" and test this infrastructure with our research. Once we have a clear infrastructure and first presentable research as well as a brand and landing page we can start our outreach activities.

Our Architecture

  • Landing Page. To be build. See Branding.
  • Medium Articles - Short descriptions of our Investment cases and decisions?
  • MediaWiki - The core of our current architecture forms MediaWiki the software which is powering wikipedia. It forms the basic outline of our article structure and services as central touch point from which other links e.g. Google Sheets, Forum or Discord start. Discussions about topics/articles should whenever possible be held in the discussion section of the article to increase transparency. (The last sentence is currently discussed here Development:Discussions)
  • Discourse Forum. Usage to be discussed.
  • Discord - Discord is our main communication tool.
  • Linear - Great project management tool.
  • Google Sheets - All calculations, more detailed numbers and our legacy research is in google sheets
  • Figma - Figma can be used to visualize e.g. our article knowledge tree.
